The Festival is a major Project of the Rollingstone local community with financial and in-kind support also from Townsville City Council. It is strongly supported by other community organisations, local businesses and most importantly our pineapple growers. The festival is organised and run by volunteers with all funds raised on the day benefiting our local community.
If you are travelling form Townsville or Ingham take the Balgal Beach turnoff, travel over the rail line towards Balgal Beach until you see The Pineapple Festival parking signs on Balgal Beach Rd. Please follow the instructions of Traffic Management on the roadway and the SES volunteers within the car park. Entry to the festival is via this carpark. See you there!
Registration for Centre Filed events and fancy dress/best dressed competition is available at Pineapple HQ 30minutes prior to each event.

Take a leisurely stroll around the market and the displays.
Displays including: Pace Farming Machinery Display, SES, Ingham Car Club, Rural Fire Brigade, Army vehicles, and Townsville Bee Keepers.
Find a bargain at the OP Shop open next to the main hall and at the Community Hall: Tea Rooms, Pineapple Art Competition, Pineapple Cooking Competition, Schools Colouring- In Competition.
The Cake Stall, and Pineapple merchandise stand are near the hall.

FOOD AND DRINKS
Drinks are available at the Bar open from 10am to 4pm. The Festival is licensed! You can buy and consume drinks in the dedicated licensed area adjacent to the Bar. Proof of age will be required by photo ID in some cases.
Why not try the festival signature cocktail?
No BYO alcohol – this will be removed from the grounds
Locally grown pineapple and pineapple juice is available for sale at the festival.
Food is available from the Lion’s Den, The Tea Rooms in The Hall plus from Foodies around the festival. Coffee Vans are also available.
